Why Work Here?
You join a collaborative culinary team that values reliability, teamwork, and quality service to residents. The environment offers consistent full-time hours with structured shifts, giving you predictable scheduling while still allowing variety through rotating weekends and holidays. You will work alongside 8-10 teammates when fully staffed, providing strong peer support and shared responsibility. This role allows you to develop and refine your cooking and foodservice skills in a professional setting focused on care, safety, and respect.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role in a healthcare-related kitchen environment with 1st or 2nd shift scheduling. Shifts are 8 hours, typically 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. or 11:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and rotating holidays. When fully staffed, you work with 8-10 teammates at a time in a busy, production-oriented kitchen. The kitchen is very hot in the summer and can reach temperatures around 100 degrees with ovens operating, so comfort working in high-heat conditions is important. There is very little direct patient interaction; most duties involve assembling meal trays and delivering them to assigned floors.
