As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a professional presence that helps to deter incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to support access procedures, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing authorized access credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.

Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries and shipments, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
