Job Title: Store Support Coordinator
Job Description
This individual provides professional customer support by researching and resolving item-related issues, ensuring accurate information, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and effective solutions. This role combines customer service, data analysis, and basic financial skills to resolve obstacles impacting multiple areas while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Interact with customers in a professional manner to research and resolve item-related obstacles.
Identify the scope and impact of each issue to ensure appropriate corrections across all affected areas.
Handle customer complaints promptly and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Troubleshoot customer issues by gathering relevant data, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including supplier support, store support, item support, and quality assurance teams, to fully resolve customer issues.
Regularly follow up with customers and internal partners until issues are fully resolved and documented.
Stay current on product knowledge, store operations, and company policies to provide accurate information and guidance to customers.
Use Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and reporting tools, to analyze data and support decision-making related to item, cost, and financial issues.
Support reconciliation and basic financial analysis activities related to item and cost discrepancies.
Contribute to quality assurance efforts by validating data, monitoring accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement in processes related to store conversions and item support.
Participate in panel interviews and team assignments, and collaborate effectively within the assigned team (supplier support, store support, item support, or quality assurance).
Essential Skills
Proven experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a store or retail environment.
Strong understanding of data analysis, data integration, and quality assurance methodologies.
Foundational knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data reporting.
Ability to use Excel and Power BI for data validation and analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and cross-functional partners.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Capability to manage multiple issues simultaneously while following up consistently until resolution.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar analytical or quality-focused role, preferably in a retail environment.
Experience with data migration and system integration projects.
Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
Knowledge of retail systems, store operations, and item or cost support processes.
Professional communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work Environment
This role supports a large-scale retail conversion initiative focused on accelerating store conversions. The position is planned to run through at least April 2027, offering an opportunity to work on a significant transformation project. Candidates will participate in a panel interview process and may be assigned to one of four teams: supplier support, store support, item support, or quality assurance. The work environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, customer satisfaction, and cross-functional coordination. You will regularly use tools such as Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, and Power BI to analyze and validate data, support issue resolution, and contribute to process improvements. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX 75063.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
