Laborer- Entry Level- Weekly Pay

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $20-$22/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5 pm

The Laborer safely removes existing furniture, loads it into trailers, and installs new furniture by unloading trucks and carrying items into the facility. This role is suitable for entry-level candidates who are comfortable with physical work and using basic tools.

Responsibilities:

Remove existing furniture from the worksite and safely haul it out of the facility.

Load old furniture into trailers in an organized and secure manner.

Unload new furniture from trucks and transport it into the designated areas of the facility.

Use hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical skills to assist with furniture handling and installation tasks.

Follow instructions, layouts, or simple blueprints as needed to ensure proper placement and setup of furniture.

Essential Skills:

Experience working with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and basic assembly tools.

Experience working with power tools such as drills or impact drivers.

Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 64 pounds safely and repeatedly.

Basic mechanical aptitude to understand how components fit and work together.

Ability to read or follow simple blueprints or layout instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Comfort working in a project-based environment with changing tasks throughout the day.

Willingness to learn installation techniques and improve tool-handling skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
