Media Room Administrative Assistant

Description We are looking for a dependable Media Room Assistant to support day-to-day media handling and distribution activities in Boston, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational setting. The role focuses on coordinating materials, maintaining accurate workflows, and helping ensure media-related requests are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Manage the receipt, sorting, and distribution of media and related materials across designated departments.

Maintain organized records of incoming and outgoing items to support accurate tracking and timely follow-up.

Prepare packages, shipments, and internal deliveries while ensuring materials are handled securely and correctly.

Monitor inventory levels for media room supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed to avoid workflow disruptions.

Support daily operational requests by prioritizing tasks and responding promptly to time-sensitive needs.

Assist with administrative and coordination activities related to staffing or hiring support when required.

Help maintain an orderly media room environment that promotes efficiency, compliance, and accessibility of materials. Requirements - Previous experience in a mailroom, media room, records support, or similar operational role.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and consistently.

Comfortable handling physical materials, sorting items, and completing routine logistical duties.

Working knowledge of media-related processes or document distribution practices is preferred.

Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders.
