Healthcare Administrative Assistant / Practice AssistantPay Rate: $20/hrAbout the Role

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Administrative Assistant to support front desk operations at a clinical location. This is a contract opportunity ideal for candidates with healthcare administrative experience who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Serving as the first point of contact for patients - greeting, checking in, and directing them appropriately

Answering and managing a high volume of incoming calls and scheduling patient appointments

Managing incoming electronic faxes, correspondence, and administrative documentation

Preparing patient materials and supporting clinical staff with procedural preparation as needed

Maintaining accurate records and navigating the Epic EMR system

Delivering excellent customer service in every patient and staff interaction

What We're Looking For

Prior front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare or clinical setting

Epic EMR experience required

Strong scheduling and organizational skills

Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a busy clinical environment

Medical knowledge or familiarity with hospital operations a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
