Job Description
Join a skilled maintenance team as an A&P Mechanic performing comprehensive flightline maintenance on a variety of aircraft. In this role, you diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft structures and systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation of landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and environmental systems including ventilation, heating, and air conditioning.
Responsibilities
Perform flightline and line maintenance on rotary and fixed-wing aircraft in accordance with applicable procedures and standards.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and environmental systems.
Inspect, repair, and replace aircraft structures and components as needed to maintain airworthiness.
Rig flight controls and other mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with specifications.
Maintain and service landing gear systems, including inspection, adjustment, and replacement of components.
Support flight operations by performing flight controls checks and system verifications prior to and after flight as required.
Document maintenance activities accurately and completely in maintenance records and logs.
Collaborate with other technicians and flightline personnel to prioritize work, solve technical issues, and ensure timely aircraft turnarounds.
Follow all safety procedures, maintenance manuals, and regulatory requirements while working on the flight line.
Operate ground support equipment, such as tugs and air conditioning carts, when qualified and required for maintenance tasks.
Participate in rotating shift schedules and adapt to changing operational needs on the flight line.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience in an MRO, aircraft manufacturing, or flightline maintenance environment (MRO or flightline strongly preferred).
Valid A&P License is required; candidates with an Airframe (A) License may be considered if they have flightline or line maintenance experience, including military flightline maintenance.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting mechanical aircraft systems.
Rigging experience on flight controls and related mechanical systems.
Practical experience working with landing gear systems.
Experience with flight controls maintenance and inspection.
Experience in flightline or line maintenance operations.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced flight line environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Rotary-wing aircraft experience.
Fixed-wing aircraft experience.
GTE (Ground Turbine Engine) experience.
Tug driving experience on the flight line.
Experience using aircraft air conditioning (A/C) carts.
Marshalling experience guiding aircraft on the ramp.
Military aircraft maintenance or flightline experience is a plus.

Work Environment
This role is based on the flight line, working directly around active aircraft operations. The schedule is primarily first shift, running from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a rotation to second shift (2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) for one week every three weeks. You work with typical flightline tools and ground support equipment such as tugs and A/C carts, and operate in an outdoor and hangar environment where safety, situational awareness, and adherence to procedures are critical.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
