The State of Minnesota is committed to equity and inclusion, and invests in employees by providing benefits, support resources, and training and development opportunities.
The Risk Management Division (RMD) (https://mn.gov/admin/government/risk/) operates Minnesota state government's self-insurance program, along with the state workers' compensation and safety program. The division also insures the state's assets and provides property and casualty coverage. Supervisory responsibilities consist of overseeing and managing about 14 WC Claims Adjusters. This position also assists the WC Claims Manager in meeting responsibilities so that unit activities continue without interruption.
This position is eligible for up to a 50% hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework arrangement, additional onsite attendance may be required for team meetings or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required. Please review the Telework Policy (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework.pdf) for details.
