KTA has an opening for a motivated, inquisitive and mechanically inclined General Laborer to support our Coatings Laboratory. This is a full-time position located at KTA's Future Labs office in Madison, MS. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with preparation of laboratory samples including coating application.

Performing standard coating tests;

Taking ownership of the laboratory, including housekeeping, safety, inventory, and maintenance of equipment;

Compliance with standard operating procedures; and

Being an active, engaged employee-owner always looking for process improvement opportunities.

This position is open to all candidates with the following qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

Prior related experience will be considered in lieu of a diploma/GED

Mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time, @type, speak, hear, lift up to 40 or more pounds safely, and wear a respirator; close, color, depth, distance, and peripheral vision with the ability to adjust focus; and manual dexterity to manipulate small objects and instruments.
