Bachelor's DegreeORthree years of progressively responsible experience in ADA compliance or disability services, with experience managing accommodation processes or accessibility initiatives.
Knowledge of ADA compliance, disability services, in a higher education environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of the ADA (Titles I and II), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and related federal and state regulations, including concepts of reasonable accommodation, undue hardship, and program accessibility.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex cases and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners.

Advanced degree and ADA Coordinator Certification ( ADACC )
Job Description
Implements policies and procedures meant to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Job Duties
Works collaboratively with designated university subject-matter experts on ADA and related disability laws, including the Director, Office of Disability Services, the Electronic Information Resources Accessibility Coordinator, Facilities, Human Resources, and other offices as appropriate to ensure compliance.
Provide consultation to Chief Compliance Officer on ADA and Section 504 requirements, program accessibility, and best practices for disability requirements.
Assist with the development, review, and implementation of university policies, procedures, and plans related to accessibility, including self-evaluations and transition plans when structural or programmatic changes are needed.
Coordinate review and response to accessibility-related complaints, in collaboration with appropriate offices (e.g., Human Resources, ODS , EIRAC , Facilities, and General Counsel. Etc.)
Oversee the university's Employee Workplace Accommodation Program for faculty, staff, and student employees, ensuring a fair, timely, and interactive process consistent with ADA , Section 504, and applicable state law.
Conduct or coordinate individualized assessments of accommodation requests, including review of medical or supporting documentation, analysis of essential job functions, and identification of reasonable accommodations that do not impose undue hardship.
Facilitate the interactive process among employees, supervisors, Human Resources, and other relevant stakeholders; provide guidance on implementation, adjustment, and review of accommodations.
Develop and oversee procedures for religious accommodation in the workplace that align with federal and state nondiscrimination laws and university policy, including documentation, assessment, and decision-making processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of requests, determinations, and accommodations; analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for training or policy improvement.
Provide training for supervisors, managers, HR partners, and employees on ADA obligations, religious accommodations, and the accommodation review and approval process.
Serve as a resource to assist faculty and staff in creating accessible documents and using tools for remediation and quality assurance.
