Job Title: Shift Assembler Job Description
The Shift Assembler loads parts onto a powder coating line and supports production activities in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. This role involves frequent lifting, kneeling, bending, and reaching, as well as the use of basic hand and power tools. The position suits individuals who enjoy active, hands-on work and can maintain a steady pace throughout the shift. Responsibilities
Load parts onto the powder coating line in a consistent, efficient, and safe manner.
Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Perform frequent kneeling, bending, and reaching while maintaining a reasonably quick work pace.
Operate a DA (dual-action) sander to prepare parts as needed.
Use a cordless drill and other basic power tools to support assembly and production tasks.
Handle hand tools and tape measures accurately to ensure parts and components meet basic specifications.
Follow production instructions and work orders to complete tasks on time.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Collaborate with team members to keep the production line running smoothly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures in a hot, non-climate-controlled environment.
Essential Skills
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Comfort performing repetitive physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, and reaching.
Capability to work at a reasonably quick pace for extended periods.
Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools, including cordless drills.
Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
Strong work ethic with self-motivation and the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision.
Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
