As an A&P Mechanic III , you'll play a vital role in maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft through inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and component replacements. Your expertise will help ensure aircraft systems meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Perform aircraft inspections, maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot aircraft systems
Repair and maintain airframes, engines, and related aircraft components
Test, inspect, and verify the functionality of mechanical and operational systems
Remove and replace defective or malfunctioning parts
Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and maintenance publications
Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to support maintenance activities
Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and applicable industry standards
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records
Support a safe, clean, and organized hangar or workshop environment
Contribute to overall aircraft reliability, safety, and mission readiness
Required Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:
Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification with no prior FAA violations
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Typically 5+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
Advanced skills in:
Aircraft repair
Aircraft maintenance
Airframe maintenance
Powerplant mechanics
Aircraft troubleshooting
Component replacement
Ability to understand and interpret:
Technical schematics
Diagrams
Blueprints
Manuals
Technical publications
Own tools in good working condition
Reliable transportation to and from work locations
Ability to pass and maintain Class 3 Physical requirements, including a hearing test
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Equivalent education and experience combinations may be considered.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

FAA Repair Station experience
Quality Assurance experience
Aerospace and Defense industry experience
U.S. Department of Defense or Military aviation experience
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Ability to travel as needed
Flexibility to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends

Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
