Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Cost Accountant Lead you'll play a pivotal part on our accounting team. The Cost Accountant Lead is responsible for all divisions within Safran Cabin Inc. and Cabin Materials. Analyzes material, labor, or other expenses to determine production costs, cost of sales, or other cost-related performance measures. This position reports to department Manager.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Collect and analyze data to determine production costs by performing the following:
o Variance Analysis
o Cost of Goods Sold Analysis
o Standard Costing Analysis
o Overhead & Labor Rate Calculation
o Inventory Valuation Analysis
o Ad-hoc financial analysis
Assist Controllers by preparing financial reports and give recommendations based on available data.
Assist Controllers with cost accounting analysis as needed.
Demonstrate understanding of BOM & Routings for cost validation.
Assist with part number cost rolls and releasing manufacturing order when request aligns with cost accounting procedures.
Maintain process and procedural documentation for Cost Accounting functions
Ensure Cross Training of Cost Accounting processes and procedures across all sites within scope.
In charge of the homogeneity of methods and processes for all cost accountants, in the central team as well as those who reports to site controllers / division CFO. For instance: calculation of overheads costs and landing costs, valuation of WIP and inventory etc.
Provide monthly analysis and reporting to management on inventories, costs of goods for each facility and for the whole company Cabin Inc.
Perform period closing activities and perform journal entries and GL account analysis.
Perform account reconciliations to drive accuracy in inventory cycle and review with Controllers at Balance Sheet Review meetings.
Perform Error Clearing to ensure accurate transaction posting to general ledger. Work with appropriate departments to resolve recurring issues by reviewing and adjusting accounting rules when necessary.
Perform Annual Cost roll with multi-week validations, organize and schedule simulations before go live in order to anticipate any impact, and make them known and approved.
Complete annual update of ERP with Overhead & Labor Rate Calculations supplied by Controllers.
Assist with physical inventory audits as requested by sites.
Assist as required with special projects.
Provide internal and external audit support as requested by gathering back up, preparing reports and presenting findings to audit teams and management to improve transparency.

The expected salary range for this position is between $77,850 - $122,330 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Computer Skills:
Strong demonstrated use of Windows Operating System.
Thorough understanding/use of Microsoft Office products including : Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Advanced knowledge/use of Microsoft Excel.

Understanding of organizational accounting concepts
In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines and regulations
Strong financial analysis skills
