Responsibilities You will plan, coordinate, and execute testing for Undersea Warfare (USW) combat systems. You will analyze and report on the performance of USW components on Navy Destroyers and Cruisers. You will verify and validate the correct installation of combat and weapon systems on individual ships. You will ensure systems can be safely and effectively operated and maintained by ship personnel. You will provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, scientists, and technical staff. Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-@type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
