Operations Manager - Fabrication

Eaton's Power Systems Division is seeking an Operations Manager to support Fabrication at our greenfield site in Jonesville, SC. Relocation assistance is available for candidates within the US. Minimal travel is expected (~10%).

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

We are building a world class operation in Jonesville, SC and we are seeking an Operations Manager to focus on employee development, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and serving customer needs. This project represents a more than $340 million investment in strengthening U.S. manufacturing and expanding the nation's capacity to meet the growing demand for reliable electrical infrastructure. The facility will play a critical role in supporting grid modernization, increased energy capacity, and the rapid growth of data centers.

In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and will manage all Fabrication operations. You will manage plant fabrication operations and schedules to ensure the most effective use of personnel, materials, equipment, and other company resources. This includes ensuring timely delivery of shipments that meet cost and quality standards and planning and coordinating manufacturing operations while guiding customer service and maintenance schedules to effectively meet customer requirements. ?

What you'll do:

Develop and implement manufacturing plans to support plant and division sales and inventory objectives. Plan and direct the manufacturing of plant project orders through the production cycle and support the maintenance functions related to production activities. Develop plant systems, operating schedules, and workloads to ensure the most effective and timely use of production equipment and personnel. Plan and manage training, instruction, and guidance for all plant supervision and other employees as needed. Plan and oversee capital equipment programs for manufacturing, facilities, and information systems. Remain knowledgeable of required personnel-related company policies and procedures and take necessary action to ensure adherence. Execute and support ELSS projects. Develop and implement effective safety and environmental programs for the facility.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a manufacturing environment developing and leading strategic business initiatives and projects to improve productivity, quality, inventory, and/or financial targets. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing people Minimum of 2 years of fabrication experience Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in engineering or MBA. Experience within a world class manufacturing organization/plant. Experience scaling operations within a high-growth site.

Significant experience in day to day process improvement systems Experience with positive employee relations policies and programs Strong customer and interpersonal skills
