Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Sports

Location: 2830 N 42nd st Phoenix, AZ 85018

Incentives: $5,000 Sign-on Bonus and $200/month Student Loan Repayment

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (3 evenings until 6 pm)

Compensation: Hourly, $26.00-$35.00, based on experience PLUS Sign-on Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program

Join our Sports Center of Excellence, where you'll have the opportunity to support local athletes by participating in spring pre-participation sports physicals for at least one area high school and engaging in community outreach activities. You'll also complete Banner's specialized OrthoVive and Sports training programs, helping you grow your expertise while contributing to our commitment to exceptional sports medicine care.

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

CPR certification
