Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality? 40North, the full-service division of Villa Restaurant Group, is looking for an experienced Full-Service Manager to join our team!

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team of our new full-service restaurant opening in Summit, New Jersey.

This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new restaurant, build a high-performing team, and establish a welcoming culture centered on exceptional hospitality. The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, develop team members, support financial performance, and create memorable experiences for every guest.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Assist with the successful opening and ongoing operation of our new restaurant. - Oversee daily restaurant operations and lead the team throughout each shift. - Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team. - Maintain exceptional standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety. - Create a welcoming and engaging experience for every guest. - Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance. - Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, purchasing, and labor management. - Monitor sales, labor, food costs, beverage costs, and other operating expenses. - Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations during peak business periods. - Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily administrative responsibilities. - Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback and resolve concerns. - Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local requirements. - Promote teamwork, open communication, and a positive restaurant culture. - Assume responsibility for restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume, full-service environment. - Experience supporting a new restaurant opening is preferred. - Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service skills. - Experience supervising front-of-house and back-of-house operations. - Knowledge of restaurant financials, labor management, inventory, and cost controls. - Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain team members. - Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - ServSafe Manager certification and applicable alcohol-service certification, or the ability to obtain them. - Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
