The HR Representative performs a variety of clerical/administrative duties in support of the Human Resources department. In coordination with theHR Manager, the incumbent assists with implementation of Human Resources programs and practices including recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits and related programs for the site.

Essential Functions:

Process timekeeping reports/records for approximately 175 employees

Assist with recruiting efforts, job fairs, pre-screening, tracking

requisition process to closure

Maintain employee personnel files and assist with maintenance of

online employee records through Workday: pay rate changes, leaves, and other personnel status updates

Update communication board as needed

Plan celebrations and coordinate with vendors for meals, venue,

hotel, airfare, etc., as needed

Assist with general office duties i.e. answer phones, office supply

ordering, etc.

Other duties as assigned or needed

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. This position will be exposed to all hazards located at manufacturing sites including noise, fumes, excessive heat/cold, dust, welding arc, all chemicals associated with the manufacturing areas, smoke and confined spaces. Travel as needed less than 5-10%.

The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office. Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds in working with large files, binders, and boxes of paper. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
