Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Water Softener Assembler Job Description
This role focuses on assembling water softener units by connecting and securing individual parts to build a complete, high-quality product. You will work on an assembly line with a small, laid-back team, performing different stages of the assembly process throughout the week. Success in this position requires strong manual dexterity, the ability to read and follow schematics and instructions precisely, and comfort with occasional lifting of products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
Assemble water softener units by connecting various parts and components according to detailed schematics and written instructions.
Verify that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product, ensuring quality and consistency in every unit.
Rotate through different stages of the assembly line throughout the week, learning and performing multiple tasks in the build process.
Follow written and verbal instructions with precision to meet production, safety, and quality standards.
Perform general labor and material handling tasks, including moving, staging, and organizing parts and finished products.
Handle inventory, shipping, and related warehouse activities as needed to support overall operations.
Lift and maneuver products weighing up to 50 pounds when required, using proper lifting techniques.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
Collaborate with a small team of 5-7 colleagues on the line, contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Essential Skills
Strong manual dexterity to handle small parts and perform precise assembly work.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds using safe lifting practices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and written instructions accurately.
Good attention to detail to ensure proper fit and function of all assembled components.

Basic math and measurement skills to support assembly and quality checks.

Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 60 days of hire.

Familiarity with forklift operation, inventory processes, and shipping activities.
Comfort working on an assembly line and rotating through different tasks.
Reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts and production timelines.

Work Environment
The role is based in an organized, smaller warehouse and assembly facility with a comfortable atmosphere. The environment is not climate controlled, but it does not become excessively warm. Team members may wear comfortable clothing, including shorts, and steel-toe footwear is not required. Safety glasses are the primary personal protective equipment needed. You will work with a small crew of approximately 5-7 people on the line. Available schedules include a first shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and a second shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
