1st Shift Welder And Fabricator

Job Description:

The Welder and Fabricator will be responsible for a variety of complex welding and fabrication projects in the Industrial Shop. They will interpret complex blueprints, layout, fabricate, and weld jobs of a wide variety, including structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals. Most of the welding is MIG and Flux Core.

Shift and Pay:

Monday - Friday - 5:00am to 3:30pm

$28-32/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from complex blueprints for various projects.

Layout, fabricate, and weld structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals.

Perform MIG and Flux Core welding.

Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely.

Work independently at an assigned work station.

Support structural and miscellaneous departments.

Essential Skills:

3+ years of experience in Structural Steel or Misc. Metals Layout, Fitting, and Welding.

3+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading.

3+ years of experience in MIG and Flux Core Welding.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
