You will work alongside experienced professionals, progress through our structured internal training program, and master the operation of complex Davenport Screw Machines. Master Precision Operation: Learn to safely set up, operate, and eventually troubleshoot Davenport Screw Machines to produce high-quality components. 2. Structured Mentorship: Participate actively in our internal Screw Machine Training program with dedicated one-on-one mentorship. 3. Quality & Inspection: Develop the skill to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and apply shop mathematics to inspect parts and ensure they meet blueprint specifications. 4. Process Improvement: Understand and adhere to all documented processes and procedures related to machine operation and part inspection. 5. Maintenance: Assist with essential daily machine maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. 6. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a manufacturing team, taking on rotating assignments to build diverse experience. 7. Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. What We're Looking For: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2. Prior hands-on experience or coursework demonstrating mechanical aptitude (e.g., auto mechanics, maintenance, manufacturing, or vocational technical training). 3. Familiarity with interpreting basic engineering blueprints or schematics. 4. Basic understanding of and ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). 5. Previous experience in a metal manufacturing or fabrication environment. 6. A great attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent attendance record are non-negotiable. 7. A strong self-motivation and willingness to actively pursue learning a complex trade. 8. The ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift and/or move materials weighing up to 40 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds (assistance provided for heavy lifts). What We Offer: 1.
