We are hiring immediately for a full time A/P CLERK position.

Location : Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center - 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Note: online applications accepted only .

Schedule : Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement : 1 year of previous bookkeeping experience preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Compiles and maintains accounts payable records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.

Distributes signed checks as required.

Prepares garnishment checks per reports from payroll.

Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments.

Answers vendor inquiries.

Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.

Assists Corporate Financial Officers and branch personnel as necessary.

Prepares cleared checks for storage.

Assembles and processes overnight shipments to branches.

Assists in monthly closings.

Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.

Performs filing and coping.

Performs other duties as assigned.
