Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a busy team supporting a wide range of seed and product orders in Ohio. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role, ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. The person in this role will combine strong communication skills with accurate data handling to support order processing and customer needs in an office-based environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage incoming customer inquiries by phone and email, providing timely and attentive support for order-related questions and service needs.

Enter and update order information with accuracy, ensuring confirmations and related records are processed correctly.

Coordinate closely with internal team members to help maintain efficient workflow across multiple seed and product lines.

Review customer orders for completeness and follow up on missing or unclear details to prevent processing delays.

Provide administrative and operational support that helps the department maintain consistent service levels.

Use business systems and standard office software to track customer interactions, process transactions, and maintain organized documentation.

Assist the team during periods of high volume by balancing service requests, order activity, and follow-up communication.

Support changes in operational processes and tools as needed, while helping ensure a smooth experience for customers and internal stakeholders. Requirements - At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center, office support, or order-processing environment.

Ability to handle inbound calls professionally while delivering clear, helpful, and customer-focused communication.

Experience with order entry and data entry, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Comfortable making and receiving customer calls as part of daily service and follow-up responsibilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems and technology.

Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative office setting. TalentMatch®
