Who we are What we expectThe first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Major Project- New Installation located in Manhattan, NY.Responsible for increasing the hit rate for major project sales and increasing overall major project profitability.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Support Major Projects sales growth with customers by building strong customer relationships with decision makers for the US Market.Assist branches and sales reps with preparing major project opportunities including estimate preparation, supply chain sourcing, forming of sales strategies, negotiation, and contract execution.Drives the focus on pre-selling activities. Includes conducting Lunch & Learns with sales reps; presenting and meeting with general contractors; and developing strong working relationships with architects to foster BOD specifications; develops and maintains strong working relationships with consultants. Conducts and participates in ITS/factory tours as deemed necessary.Network with customers, developers, consultants, architects, and building managers and associates.Support regional and branch sales efforts by leveraging customer relationships.Develop and maintain expert working knowledge of company products by attending company training classes and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information.Be the primary owner of creating and delivering traffic analysis simulations and associated customer presentations and reports.Identify and solve problems in design, engineering, and traffic flow, to the mutual benefit of the customer and TK ElevatorUsing specialized design and experience to create technical drawings from ideas, concepts, instructions and diagrams into workable product designsReview designs according to changes in specifications, building plans and/or survey data with adherence to established specifications and standardsWork with Engineering on the design of custom applicationsReview proposed bids with regional and branch management for completeness and accuracy, compliance of job requirements.With team, consistently meet major project sales goals.Receive and respond to written and oral questions related to design and bid opportunities.Act as a mentor to Sales Representatives and Engineers.Possess a strong knowledge of local code requirements throughout the US.Visit building sites and works with local branch to ensure customers' needs are being met along with all contractual obligations.Routinely perform presentations and/or training to internal and external customers.Identify needs of the field and implement solutions to increase market share of TKE equipment. Who we are looking forEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree10+ years directly related sales experience in the elevator industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Possess a high level of ethical standards and a strong sales and mechanical aptitude requiredStrong knowledge-base of TKE product offerings a plusPossess outstanding sales and customer service abilitiesSkilled in developing and promoting a team work environmentDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, consultants building management and ownersDemonstrated ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies and/or members of the business communityPossess a high level of self-motivation and excellent time management skillsPossess effective communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and internal networksPossess strong persuasive and interpersonal skills requiredPossess solid written and oral communication skills essential for the role What we offerSalary range: $101,000- $139,000.
