Position Description:
CGI is seeking a growth minded, self-driven Vice President, Consulting Services to own our Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) portfolio across the Greater Chicagoland and Milwaukee markets. This leader will guide and grow a domain of approximately 60 CGI Partners, and leverage their strong network of BFSI leaders in the Chicagoland market to grow the portfolio by an incremental $20M in in-year revenue within their first two to three years in the role.
Responsibilities for this position include business development, proposal development, driving the full deal cycle, client relationships, contract negotiation, financial management, and CGI Partner growth within the BFSI sector.
This position is based in our downtown Chicago office. The selected CGI Partner must be onsite 3-4 days per week, with the ability to travel locally throughout the Greater Chicagoland and Milwaukee territories, with additional travel up to 25%.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Growth: Own the strategy, growth, and profitability of the BFSI portfolio across Greater Chicagoland and Milwaukee, growing an incremental $20M in in year revenue within the first two to three years in the role.
Business Development and Proposal Leadership: Personally drive new business development, targeting a minimum of 12 client meetings per month, and lead proposal development and solutioning for consulting, professional services, and managed services engagements, with accountability for winning competitive proposals.
Deal Cycle Ownership: Drive opportunities through the full deal cycle qualification, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and close for both business and IT consulting and managed services engagements.
Client and Market Relationships: Leverage and expand an existing network of BFSI leaders across the Chicagoland market to build trusted advisor relationships and represent CGI's BFSI capabilities, including CGI's BFSI product and IP offerings where applicable.
Contracts and Commercial Documents: Author, negotiate, and review client contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Statements of Work, and other commercial documents in partnership with legal and contracts teams.
Financial and Margin Management: Build and maintain project financials across the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing tracking of actual, forecast, and projected margin at the account and engagement level.
Leadership and Team Development: Recruit, lead, and mentor a domain of approximately 60 CGI Partners, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and professional growth.
Client Satisfaction and Account Management: Partner with account management and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction, service delivery quality, and continuous improvement across the BFSI portfolio.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 10+ years of experience in IT and Consulting Services, including managed services and consulting/professional services for business and IT, showing increased levels of leadership
. Extensive business development, proposal development, and deal cycle experience resulting in meeting or exceeding business development financial goals
. Proven, established network of BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and/or Insurance) business and technology leaders within the Greater Chicagoland market
. Demonstrated history of authoring, negotiating, and reviewing client contracts, MSAs, NDAs, and other commercial and legal documents
. Proven ability to build project financials and track actual, forecast, and projected margin at the account or engagement level
. Proven experience developing and managing high performing consulting teams
. Self driven and metrics oriented, with a demonstrated ability to consistently generate and progress new client meetings, targeting at least 12 per month
. Ability and willingness to work onsite at CGI's downtown Chicago office 3 4 days per week, and to travel locally throughout Greater Chicagoland and Milwaukee using a personal vehicle, with overall travel up to 25%
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, inspiring confidence and leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
. Working knowledge of CGI's BFSI product and industry solution offerings
. Existing relationships with BFSI leaders in the Milwaukee market in addition to Chicagoland
. Proven ability to work in a structured environment in a large professional services firm.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $190,400- $352,000.
