Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.
Manage multiple projects at various phases and in various locations, from project identification through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and financial closeout.
Lead project teams consisting of architects, design engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, real estate brokers, environmental consultants, client project management organizations, client security, and client technology teams.
Provide weekly project activity updates to leadership, including schedule, budget, and risk status, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Develop risk management plans and lead teams through established work authorization processes to prevent impacts or incidents within critical environments or equipment.
Track project financials closely, including budgets, forecasts, and actuals, and ensure alignment with financial targets and reporting requirements.
Support team and client initiatives for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
Engage in personal career development by seeking feedback, participating in training, and building expertise in construction, commercial real estate, and MEP infrastructure.
Collaborate with accounting and project administration functions to ensure accurate billing, accounts receivable management, and working capital compliance.
Apply an understanding of technical requirements for business relocations, including coordination of furniture, space planning, and building systems.
Utilize relevant project technology applications to manage documentation, schedules, reporting, and communication for assigned projects.

Experience with vendor management, including RFP processes and ensuring compliance with project policies and procedures.
This role operates in a hybrid work environment, with an expectation of working approximately three to four days per week in the office and the remaining time working remotely. The position focuses on facilities-related construction projects on the Missouri side of a major metropolitan area, with an emphasis on MEP systems, major MEP equipment, HVAC upgrades, and roof replacements rather than traditional tenant interior build-outs. You will collaborate closely with a lead project manager who will provide guidance and training, creating a supportive environment for professional growth. The organization offers flexibility for personal appointments during the day, encouraging a healthy balance between work responsibilities and personal needs. Work involves regular interaction with contractors, engineers, architects, and internal teams, as well as the use of project management and technology tools to track schedules, budgets, documentation, and risk.
