Customer Service Representative

Overview:

We are seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced call center environment. This role is responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys helping others, works well in a team environment, and can effectively manage multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and support in a call center environment.

Handle inbound customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records.

Research and troubleshoot customer concerns while adhering to established procedures and service standards.

Navigate multiple systems and resources to provide timely, accurate information.

Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure a positive customer experience.

Meet performance, productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous customer service experience required; call center experience preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of call center or phone-based customer service experience is highly preferred.

Retail customer service experience will also be considered.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to multitask and efficiently navigate multiple computer systems.

Reliable attendance and flexibility to work assigned schedules.

Team-oriented mindset with a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Experience in a high-volume customer service or contact center environment is a plus.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Schedule Highlights

6-8 weeks of training, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (fully onsite).

Hybrid schedule after training: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Availability required between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including occasional 12:00 PM-8:00 PM shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of North Kingstown, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
