Flexible Schedule rotating between 1st/3rd ( 4 on 3 off, 5 on, 7 off) 12 Hour 7am-7pm

Job Description
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be tasked with inspecting, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical circuits and systems.
Responsibilities
Inspect electrical equipment and industrial machinery to identify potential issues and ensure safe and efficient operation.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, motors, generators, controllers, switches, and related equipment.
Assemble and install new or repaired electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation, and equipment such as motors, regulators, controllers, generators, and switches.
Diagnose electrical problems, perform repairs, and document all work performed in a clear and accurate manner.
Conduct electrical testing using meggers, voltmeters, ammeters, ground locating equipment, and other electrical test instruments.
Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and start up AC and DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial lighting equipment.
Read, comprehend, and interpret basic electrical prints and drawings, and create markups for electrical installations as needed.
Start, stop, maintain, and assist with the installation and repair of generating and power distribution equipment.
Dismantle and assemble electrical motors and related allied equipment for repair or maintenance.
Install and repair electrical conduit and cable, including making proper connections, controls, and grounding to meet safety and operational standards.
Prepare work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, and documentation related to time distribution and material usage.
Skills
Strong experience in industrial electrical maintenance, including inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and electrical repair in an industrial environment.
Hands-on experience with 480V electrical systems.
Ability to configure, commission, troubleshoot, and start up AC/DC drives.
Experience working with PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems, including troubleshooting and installation.
Experience working with HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
Familiarity with DCS (Distributed Control System) environments and installations.
Ability to perform electrical testing using meggers, voltmeters, ammeters, and ground locating equipment.
Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical prints, drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports, work orders, correspondence, and inspection documentation clearly and accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Electrical Journeyman certification, or 5+ years of verified experience as an industrial maintenance electrician.
Experience installing electrical conduit, cable, controls, and grounding in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Ability to assemble, install, and maintain industrial lighting equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in high-noise and high-activity environments.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying conditions.

Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled, where temperatures can be hot or humid and surfaces may be wet, dusty, or uneven. Employees may be exposed to high noise levels, vibration, and fumes, and must consistently follow safety protocols. Personal protective equipment is required, including steel-toe footwear, ear protection, eye protection, gloves, and head protection in designated areas. The setting is hands-on, industrial, and physically active, requiring comfort working around heavy machinery and complex electrical systems.
