The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT, is responsible for managing exterior facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. What you'll do:
Operate and maintain facility exterior equipment, including heavy machinery and vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
Perform seasonal exterior maintenance such as snow and ice management, landscaping, and cleaning to maintain safe and presentable facilities.
Manage budgets by preparing cost estimates, approving purchases, and controlling expenses related to parts, equipment, and travel.
Lead and coach third-party providers and associates, conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional development.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns, ensuring quality service and adherence to company policies and standards.
Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to maintain a secure work environment.
What you'll bring:
Proven ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Experience managing facility exterior services, including seasonal maintenance such as snow and ice removal.
Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and resolve facility and equipment issues promptly.
Competence in coordinating purchases, cost control, and budget preparation for facility projects.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with management, associates, and third-party providers.
Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and quality standards in all tasks.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
21 years of age or older.
Valid state-issued driver's license.
No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor
vehicle.
No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor
vehicle.
Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre- hire.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry

Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and be able to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card, Associate's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area., Experience in third-party management., Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)., Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish., State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California, etc).
