Job Description
The Carpenter provides professional installation services for high-quality products, including garage cabinets, custom closets, floor coatings, and garage organization systems. This role involves working safely to established standards, delivering excellent workmanship, and maintaining a consistently professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with customers and team members.
Responsibilities
Install garage cabinets, custom closets, floor coatings, and garage organization products according to specifications and company standards.
Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and related carpentry tasks.
Read and interpret measurements, levels, and tape measures to ensure accurate layout and precise installation.
Apply general construction, carpentry, flooring, and epoxy application skills to complete projects to a high quality standard.
Perform all work in a safe manner, following company safety procedures and best practices at all times.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct when working in both residential and commercial settings.
Present ideas and installation options clearly and effectively to customers and team members.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
Lift, carry, and move materials and products, frequently up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs, as required for installations.
Organize tools, materials, and workspaces to keep job sites clean, safe, and efficient.
Collaborate with the team to plan daily tasks, resolve issues, and ensure projects finish on time.
Perform general labor tasks related to construction and installation as needed to support project completion.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience using hand tools and power tools.
Proficiency using levels and tape measures for accurate measurements.
Experience in general labor, construction, or carpentry environments.
Basic knowledge of flooring installation and epoxy applications.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong professionalism and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Strong work ethic and reliability, with consistent attendance and punctuality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience installing cabinets, closets, or similar built-in storage systems.
Familiarity with garage organization products and systems.
Ability to read and follow basic blueprints or installation drawings.
Experience working in both residential and commercial job sites.
Comfort working with floor coatings and epoxy materials.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Work Environment

The role follows a regular day shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work. The position requires regular use of hand tools, power tools, levels, tape measures, and materials such as flooring and epoxy. The work involves physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs, as well as standing, bending, and moving throughout the workday on active job sites.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
