Management of the UnitedHealthcare Key Accounts Account Management staff responsible for customer retention and NBEA sales in the 100 - 1000+ employee range. Responsible for the overall sale of NBEA business and the retention of existing accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor client assignments
Training of account management staff, new hire and ongoing
Maintain an acceptable level of persistency in teams' book of business
Recruit, hire and monitor account management staff
Personnel development and management
Set annual account management strategy to achieve goals
Direct and manage service plans
Monitor and achieve overall ancillary sales and retention goals for the health plan
Relationship Building
Build and maintain key client and producer relationships
Develop and maintain key internal relationships
Present a positive image of UnitedHealth Group to the marketplace
Product Knowledge
Detailed understanding of all UnitedHealth Care products, services and solutions across all health plan sites
Working knowledge of Enterprise/ancillary product lines
Ability to identify and communicate the need for improvements in UnitedHealth Care products and services

Required Qualifications:
Sales Insurance License Maintained by Law or obtain
5+ years relevant sales experience
5+ years of experience working with brokers/consultants
5+ years of experience meeting sales goals/targets
5+ years of experience using data analysis to drive change
5+ years of proficiency in Microsoft suite to include, word, excel, PowerPoint
Willingness to travel as required
Must maintain valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant, managerial experience within the insurance industry
3+ years of financial, underwriting & actuarial experience within a brokerage firm or commercial health insurance plan

The salary for this role will range from $xx,xxx to $xx,xxx annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.
