Job Title: ADE - Field Sales Representative (VA)
Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity to help launch a new local delivery partner program by recruiting businesses across designated areas in Virginia. You will actively visit prospective businesses, present and promote the program, qualify interested partners, and guide them through the application and onboarding process. Working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, you will also help organize and execute community recruitment events and manage your pipeline using Salesforce. The position requires regular travel within a two-hour driving radius and provides uncapped commission based on successful partner conversions.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses face to face in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance.
Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to local businesses and generate interest in applying.
Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the full application process.
Lead applicant follow-up activity and manage the recruitment pipeline in Salesforce.
Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners and act as a knowledgeable point of contact throughout the onboarding journey.
Identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Consistently travel within the assigned territory to meet outreach and recruitment goals.
Essential Skills
1-2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Outside or field sales experience.
CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip distance daily.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities in the field.
High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
Comfort working with Excel spreadsheets and importing data into CRM systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior field sales experience is a strong plus.
Experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
Professionalism and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others.
Tech savvy, with experience working across multiple systems and technologies.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records of outreach activities.
Motivation to earn uncapped commission through successful partner recruitment.
Work Environment
This is a highly mobile role with most work performed on the road 4-5 days per week, visiting businesses and attending community events within the assigned territory. The remaining time is spent working from home, handling follow-ups, managing Salesforce entries, and preparing for outreach activities. The position involves regular driving within a two-hour radius and up to 4 hours of round-trip travel daily. Territories include locations in or near Lynchburg, VA, Roanoke, VA, and areas between Lynchburg and Emporia, VA. The role uses Salesforce and Excel as core tools, along with a mobile phone for communication and navigation. A monthly phone allowance and mileage reimbursement are provided, and uncapped commission is available based on partner applications and successful launches.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
