POSITION TITLE: Account Manager

LOCATION: This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Avoca office located at 12 S Main St, Avoca, NY 14809.

PAY RANGE: $22-$24/hr

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lexitas is seeking a client-focused and detail-oriented Account Manager. This role is vital in delivering a premium client experience to attorneys and legal teams. You will act as a trusted liaison, managing sensitive medical records and ensuring accurate, timely communication with clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts

Provide bi-weekly status updates and proactive outreach on open cases

Respond to client inquiries within the same business day, resolving issues promptly and accurately

Verify and process medical records in compliance with HIPAA and all legal standards

Collaborate with legal and medical offices to gather and communicate essential case information

Troubleshoot client concerns and document outcomes to ensure first-contact resolution

Safeguard confidential client information and escalate critical feedback to leadership

Support internal staff with accurate, up-to-date record management

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

3+ years of customer service experience in a professional setting

General proficiency with Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based platforms

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Excellent attendance, punctuality, and accountability

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is not a supervisor position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
