Electrical Production Technician (Assembly Operator)
Location: West Branch, IA
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm / Will move to 6:00 am - 2:30 pm in the fall
Pay Range: $22-$25/hr based on expereince

Kelly is seeking Electrical Production Technicians in West Branch, IA! You will play a key role installing and wiring electrical systems within wind turbines, including control panels, sensors, and harnesses. This is a great opportunity for skilled electrical assemblers eager to support the clean energy transformation.
Responsibilities:
Install and assemble electrical components in wind turbine nacelles and hubs
Route and secure wiring harnesses, connectors, and controls
Verify electrical continuity and functionality with testing equipment
Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized workspace
Meet production targets and collaborate with teams to improve assembly processes
Handle materials and assist in other production areas as needed
Participate in audits, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting
Support mechanical assembly operators and other assigned duties
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Electrical certifications or technical training (preferred)
3+ years relevant experience in electrical assembly/manufacturing
Experience in wind turbine, industrial, or automotive electrical systems
Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Experience operating overhead cranes & ability to achieve/maintain crane certification
Willingness to obtain electrical safety certifications as needed
Familiarity with multimeters, crimping tools, diagnostic equipment
Ability to pass a respiratory fit test & work at heights
ISO 9000:2000 Quality System knowledge is a plus
