As a Security Officer Patrol in Gulfport, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Day Time

Tue03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Wed03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Thur03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Fri03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Sat03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor traffic, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Support loss prevention and store personnel with security-related presence, de-escalation, and incident response while maintaining professional interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
