As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in SACRAMENTO, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with a people-first approach, working as part of an agile, reliable team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while following site access protocols and reporting issues to the appropriate contacts.

Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
