Mission Systems Mission Critical Products (MCP) is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager of Hardware Engineering to lead a mixed Mechanical & Electrical Engineering section within the Multi-Domain Assured Navigation & Timing Applications (MANTA) organization.

This position requires onsite presence in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
What You Will Do:
Lead a team of highly innovative engineers in the invention, development, build, and test of mechanical & electronic solutions supporting Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing products and technology.
Oversee the mechanical & electrical engineering execution of internally and externally funded programs and IR&D projects, striving for 100% customer satisfaction.
Develop innovation strategies via collaboration with internal and external customers and partner organizations across the company.
Collaborate with personnel across Mission Systems and RTX to support technology transition planning and recommend projects for independent research & development (IR&D).
Develop and nurture internal and external networks, forging relationships with peers across Mission Systems Engineering, Value Stream leadership, and Operations.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
3+ years experience leading cross-functional technical teams with a passion for challenging and developing people.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience supporting pursuit, order & capture activities.
Experience in identifying, communicating and mitigating risks
Excellent verbal/written communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiar with product lifecycle to include Operations support partnership.
Experience in building, mentoring, and growing high-performing teams.
Experience in stakeholder management and ensuring that all teams remain aligned to business objectives, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Proven track record of driving team accountability for meeting project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
