Northlands Job Corps is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Recreation Aide to organize and supervise recreational and enrichment activities for students, both on and off center. This position helps create a positive, engaging environment where students can develop healthy habits, build relationships, explore new interests, and make constructive use of their free time.

Essential Duties {#essential-duties section-id="f7qkle" data-start="540" end="560"}

Assist with developing and implementing a variety of recreational

and enrichment programs, including arts and crafts, intramural sports, cultural events, fitness activities, and other student programs.

Organize and supervise on-center and off-center recreational

activities.

Encourage students to make informed choices related to fitness,

nutrition, and healthy lifestyles.

Prepare schedules and calendars for recreation activities.

Coordinate student field trips and center-sponsored events.

Provide transportation for students attending approved activities

and events.

Maintain recreation facilities, equipment, materials, and supplies

in accordance with center standards.

Track and document student participation and program attendance.

Order and maintain recreational equipment, supplies, and materials.

Recognize and reinforce positive student behavior.

Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all

participants.
