Monitors progress/benchmarks, financial expenditures, allocations, and inspects results. Serves as the point of contact for contracts and related issues. Essential Duties Contract Administrator I and II Develops, writes, revises and/or prepares, procurement documents, agreements, and time extensions. Oversees development, writing, revision and/or preparation of highly complex contracts, amendments, procedures, forms, related documents and provisions, financial/statistical graphs and reports. Oversees the administration of complex agreements and contracts. Monitors contract performance by examining billings and fiscal data for compliance with contract terms and policies. Provides advanced technical and administrative support including reviewing and processing contracts, answers questions, provides assistance, and resolving discrepancies and contract-related issues. Provides guidance and recommendations concerning contract administration processes and best practices. Oversees maintenance, updating, and compilation of detailed data, reports, summaries, files, records, logs, statistics, or specific contracts, including procurement documents and revisions; oversees writing of routine and unique correspondence. Serves as a lead worker to TxDOT employees by serving as a resource for complex questions, providing technical training, and presenting workflow and operational updates to the supervisor. May conduct training on complex contracting issues. Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
