As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility in Lansing, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support visitor management, and conduct routine patrols to help promote a secure environment. This role blends customer service, communication, and attention to detail while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, caring culture, teamwork, and integrity in daily security-related responsibilities.

Day Time

Thur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices.

Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant activity according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observe for unusual activity or security-related concerns, and report issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
