About the team:
The Customer Engagement Services Technology team develops advanced customer service solutions impacting millions globally. It includes software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts focused on innovative Generative AI applications within complex enterprise environments. As part of Walmart Global Tech's Enterprise Business Systems, the team collaborates closely with product, business, and UX partners to deliver measurable business value. Emphasizing scalable, secure, and maintainable software design, the team fosters continuous improvement and operational excellence to support Walmart's mission of helping customers save money and live better.
What you'll do:
Lead delivery of scoped features and components through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives.
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code across multiple programming languages, supporting full software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
Monitor application performance, support defect resolution, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
Strong experience delivering scoped features or models through collaborative engineering teams.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, or C++.
Demonstrated ability to conduct code reviews, debugging, and continuous development with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of AI/ML integration and generative AI tools to enhance software solutions.
Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform standards.
Effective collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Commitment to technical ownership, quality, and continuous improvement in software delivery.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
