Job Description
The Manufacturing Associate - Assembly builds electrical box units of various sizes by using hand and power tools to pull wires, install doors, and complete mechanical assemblies in a clean, lean manufacturing environment. This role suits someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and can consistently perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical box units of various sizes using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, and crimpers.
Pull, route, and organize wires within electrical box assemblies according to specifications.
Install doors, hardware, and related components on electrical box units to complete the assembly.
Follow written instructions, diagrams, or work orders to ensure assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
Use mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor assembly issues and make basic adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with lean manufacturing principles.
Stand, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
Lift and move components and assemblies weighing up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
Work collaboratively with team members and share ideas to improve efficiency and processes.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while operating tools and equipment.
Essential Skills
Proven ability to use hand and power tools for assembly, including screwdrivers, wire crimpers, cutters, and similar equipment.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical assemblies and components.
Experience assembling or putting items together, such as furniture, computers, cars, appliances, or similar products.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods during the workday.
Ability to consistently lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality assemblies.
Reliability and strong work ethic in a production or assembly environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing or production work experience.
On-the-job assembly experience in a factory or similar setting.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and organized workstations.
Comfort working in an environment that may occasionally include mild paint-like odors.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and products.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
