Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Mil) in the Naval Education and Training Command of NROTC SITE MD BALTIMORE COUNTY. Responsibilities You will provide senior officers and staff members training on processes and various program requirements. You will analyze, research issues, and determine the actions to resolves the issues. You will maintain tuition and Fees records You will maintain a local tracking system and monitor data by updating as needed. You will serve as Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) for all personnel, student and midshipmen. You will prepare, submit all required documentation to process gains, losses, separations, retirements, pay and PCS travel claims. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Maintaining filing systems of various records; 2) Entering data into automated database systems; 3) Reviewing documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines; 4) Utilizing office automation equipment and software in order to prepare a variety of forms and correspondence. This position requires the ability to @type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
