Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description
This role focuses on material handling and general warehouse duties, including the accurate picking and packing of products using an RF scanner and various material handling equipment. You will support daily warehouse operations by safely moving, organizing, and preparing products for shipment in a small, collaborative warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Perform material handling and general warehouse duties to support daily operations.
Pick and pack products accurately using an RF scanner for tracking and inventory control.
Operate an electric pallet jack and sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload materials, once trained and certified as required.
Manually pick and pack orders, ensuring correct items, quantities, and packaging standards.
Load and unload trucks and pallets safely and efficiently.
Support inventory activities by handling products carefully and maintaining accurate counts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by performing regular cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Handle physical labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and stacking products as needed.
Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines while working with equipment and materials.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete orders and meet deadlines.
Assist with general labor tasks and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Previous warehouse experience.
Experience with RF scanners for picking, packing, and tracking products.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Experience with general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and material handling.
Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to follow instructions and warehouse procedures accurately.
Comfort working with equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating an electric pallet jack.
Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Background in order picking and packing in a warehouse environment.
Familiarity with inventory processes and basic material handling practices.
Ability to contribute to warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Willingness to learn and be trained on forklift operation if not already experienced.

Work Environment
This position is based in a small warehouse environment with approximately 7-10 team members on site, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. The standard schedule is a first shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some occasional overtime as business needs require. You will work around typical warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, electric pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts, as well as engage in physical tasks like loading, unloading, and general material handling. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and safety while maintaining a steady workflow throughout the day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
