As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Concierge in WEST POINT, VA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Sat02:00 AM - 10:00 AM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at the location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity to help support security-related operations.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.

Communicate with site contacts, delivery drivers, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access requests, restricted areas, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
