Description

A well-established organization in the Sonora area is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with an emphasis in Accounts Payable, to support daily accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing a steady volume of invoices and payments in a fast-paced office environment.

This will be working full-time hours on-site Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable invoices accurately and on time

Maintain vendor records and payment documentation

Reconcile statements and resolve invoice discrepancies

Keep accounts payable files current, organized, and up to date

Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed

Support related functions such as payroll, depending on experience

Qualifications

Recent accounts payable experience required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage deadlines and work independently

Experience with accounting software and financial systems

Payroll experience is a plus

Nonprofit or fund accounting experience is a plus

Degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience
