Deburr machined parts to remove sharp edges and ensure safe, high-quality finishes.
Wash and clean machined parts prior to packing or further processing.
Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and blueprints to confirm parts meet specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
Perform tool changes and ensure the machine switches between tools correctly during production.
Upload CNC programs to machine controllers and verify correct program selection before running parts.
Perform offsets and make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain part quality and accuracy.
Operate CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, Swiss-style machines, and grinding equipment, as assigned.
Pack machined parts and materials accurately and safely for storage or shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in a climate-controlled machine shop environment.
