A Brief Overview
The Sr. Training Specialist for Supply Chain will be responsible for both developing and implementing a training program for staff across all functional areas of Supply Chain and leadership levels (from front-line to leadership). Training materials should be developed in multiple methods (written, in person, technological). This role will include employee development, intended to grow internal talent.

What you will do
Work with subject matter experts to develop appropriate training materials for all aspects of Supply Chain
Use of technology to aid in deployment of training materials (Healthstream, videos, etc.)
Develop training material for Supply Chain's customers to be posted on the intranet
o Issuing POs
o New product request process
o RFID ordering
o Etc.
Build a catalog of available training outside SHC specific to Supply Chain leadership, and work with Supply Chain leaders to build development plans for themselves in addition to their teams.
Organize and run group trainings, such as "lunch and learn" short trainings for frontline staff, CMRP certification, etc.
Develop one point lessons for both Supply Chain teammates and the customers of supply chain
Provides coaching and training for staff including efficiencies related to a cross training and functional team.
Drives staff engagement, retention strategies, and continuous effective training
Conduct training/development needs analyses and assessments on an organizational and individual basis.
Develops and implements specified training and development programs and initiatives to meet assessed needs.
Based on assessed need, plans, develops, and delivers individual and/or group training and instructional programs, encompassing a wide range of technical and operational skills areas.
Assists in development of training curricula; formulates or reviews training outlines and determines appropriate instructional methodologies and formats; evaluates and recommends incorporation of vendor programs, as appropriate to meet overall training goals and objectives.
Develops and prepares teaching and visual aids, instructional materials, computer tutorials, and reference materials appropriate to specific program objectives.
Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.
Manages and archives training records.
Responsible for maintaining robust new hire, remediation, refresher, and enhanced skills training programs.
Provides feedback to managers and staff. Retrains staff when necessary or works individually with staff to improve performance. Develops routine audits of staff performance to ensure that policies and processes are followed.

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience Qualifications
5+ years either in teaching, building teaching curriculum, and/or Supply Chain
5+ years teaching within Supply Chain Preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to collaborate both with internal supply chain and external colleagues
Ability to teach Supply Chain Leaders how to teach their teams new skills
Experience using technology for teaching purposes

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $50.67 - $65.87 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
