Job Description
This role combines warehouse and retail responsibilities in a bakery store environment. You will pick and prepare merchandise for shipment, organize and stock products on shelves, assist customers as needed, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work cooperatively within a small, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
Pick merchandise accurately from bins or shelves according to order requirements.
Prepare and package orders for shipment in line with customer specifications and company standards.
Verify the completeness and correctness of all orders before they leave the facility.
Organize merchandise on shelves and in storage areas to maintain a neat and efficient layout.
Fold clothing and ensure all items are presented in an orderly and appealing manner.
Stock shelves and replenish inventory as needed to support retail operations.
Perform packing, assembly, and case selection tasks as assigned.
Support retail activities in the bakery store, including basic customer assistance when required.
Assist with cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor to maintain a clean and safe work area.
Practice good personal hygiene and keep the work area sanitary and organized.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and values in daily work activities.
Communicate job-related information clearly to coworkers and supervisors to accomplish tasks effectively.
Exercise personal safety on the job and demonstrate a strong commitment to the safety of others and the products handled.
Comply with all site rules, including restrictions on phones, glass, tobacco use, piercings, and dress requirements.
Maintain excellent attendance in line with company and department policies, understanding that attendance, attitude, and effort are key factors for long-term opportunities.
Participate fully in orientation and training, including following uniform and identification requirements.
Work flexibly within varying schedules and shift times to support a six-day operation.

Essential Skills
Experience picking orders accurately in a warehouse, retail, or similar environment.
Ability to perform inventory tasks and maintain organized stock areas.
Basic computer skills to support order processing and related tasks.
Experience stocking shelves and organizing merchandise in a retail or warehouse setting.
Ability to perform packing, assembly, and case selection work efficiently.
Strong attention to detail to ensure orders are complete and correct.
Effective communication skills to share job information and coordinate work with others.
Consistent, reliable attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, bend, or crawl while performing job duties.

Ability to repeatedly move up to 50 pounds from waist level to pallet heights ranging from approximately 6 inches to 48 inches from the floor.
Ability to bend to floor level repeatedly as part of regular tasks.
Capability to maneuver wheeled carts weighing up to approximately 250 pounds, using safe techniques.
Willingness to comply with pre-employment BG and drug screening requirements.
Ability to follow safety rules and demonstrate a strong commitment to product and workplace safety.

Work Environment
This role is based in a bakery store and e-commerce warehouse setting that operates six days a week. Schedules may vary, and you may work Sunday through Thursday approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or Monday through Friday starting as early as 6:00 a.m., with some flexibility required. The team is small-around seven people-so collaboration, mutual support, and shared responsibility are central to daily operations. Orientation typically begins on Mondays and lasts three days, and you must present a valid photo ID to participate. The site follows clear attendance guidelines and expects consistent punctuality and presence. The environment emphasizes safety and cleanliness: phones and glass are not allowed in most work areas, and the worksite is tobacco-free. All piercings must be removed while at work, and grooming standards apply to ensure proper mask fit where needed. Dress expectations include khaki pants or jeans and a plain polo or neat T-shirt; for orientation and some assignments, solid blue jeans without holes, approved shoes, and a solid color T-shirt with no logos are required. Work is physically active and involves frequent lifting, bending, and moving carts, so you can expect a hands-on, fast-paced environment where everyone contributes and pulls their weight.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.61 - $16.61/hr.
