Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Counter Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for doing the following: assist with area housekeeping and safety efforts; receive, store, inventory and issue parts and consumables from stock for production and maintenance personnel; expedite the plant delivery service; work with computerized systems to perform warehouse functions. This position requires working rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and scheduled/unscheduled overtime. [[cust_safetyState]]

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic knowledge/skillset of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service

Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience using MP2

Experience operating forklifts

Experience in steel manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
